SED’s Academic Cooperation with University of Tsukuba

Academic Cooperation Relationship between SED Landscape Architects Ltd. and University of Tsukuba in Japan

In June 2012, during the research purpose visit to Japan, referred and recommended by the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Landscape Architect / Planner from the Japanese company, Mr. Tooru Miyakoda (Du Tian Zhe for Chinese pronunciation), our company had established a friendly academic cooperation relationship with University of Tsukuba in Japan and engaged in the landscape design theme seminar.

University of Tsukuba is a newly established National Comprehensive University as well as the oldest university in Japan with a history of over 130 years. Due to its adaptability to the trend of the world's scientific and technological development, it is well known as a modern oriental university that adopts new schooling systems and always stands in the forefront of the reform for the Japanese universities.

During the course of the visit, not only had we gained a taste of the modern model of the Japanese education system, but also it had promoted communication and encouragement with one another among the students and designers from both countries in the field of landscape design. It is an important step entering the international market in the diversification process without national boundaries.
