Jinling（Name of Nanjing in ancient times）was famous for its flourishing literature, humanity and unique natural landscape. Taking the local culture as sources and putting local people first, the project extracts some cultural elements, like Jade in Ming Dynasty, auspicious clouds and details of Great Wall in Ming Dynasty etc. and uses them into the landscape. The spatial layout of traditional south garden style is taken as the example in the design that the courtyard in the central axis is designed symmetrically, enhancing the sense of sequence. The winding paths are more flexible, providing tranquil spaces for people to meander around the community. The grandness of entry space showcases noble dignity and successfully constructs a high-end residential landscape environment in Nanjing.
