The Eastern Villa has a versatile layout with a focus on depth; its special design borrows elements from traditional Chinese gardening and local “a standing stamp” architectural characteristic from Kunming. The design has rich local flavor and traditional artistic beauty presented through a multi-layered approach in landscape. This project expresses ideals of “prosperity outside and peace inside” and “far away from the noises yet close to the city”.
The Eastern Villa’s landscape design layout draws wisdom from traditional Chinese residences where four landscape units: house, garden, courtyard and alleyway are organized to present a noble, grand, elegant and flexible landscape masterpiece.
